Memory’s Last Breath is out in Chinese:
The main pictures shows the cover of MEMORY’S LAST BREATH: FIELD NOTES ON MY DEMENTIA in its Chinese edition. As if that were not exciting enough, I got a Facebook message from a Taiwanese reader, Erin Wu:
“Dear Mrs Saunders, I am Erin Wu from Taiwan. Just read the chinese translation of your great book– Memory’s Last Breath. As a family of a dementia patient and a psychiatrist, I was deeply inspired by your story.” Erin also sent me this link, where information about my book is published:
Thanks so much, Erin Wu!
To see one of RadioWest’s videos about me and my family with Chinese subtitles, click here: along the bottom of the film frame on the righthand side, click on the image for “turn on subtitles” that looks like this, but tiny:

To find out in which other non-Western alphabets my book is being published, see my earlier blog post, Gerda’s j_wls in a language that used to have no v_wls

Baie dankie, Rene. Mooi bly.
