I have struggled with being called brave as I go through radiation, not sure why. I think it’s because there are those who have a bigger fight on their hands and mine seems minor. It helped to read this ?

Dear Corrine, I just read through your entire cancer blog and looked at your art and, accordingly, I already adore you! I love your sense of humor and am blown away by your talent in writing and making art. Wow! I love what you say: “Cancer is not a gift, it is not a universal plan, it will not make me more spiritual, it does not make me appreciate life more (hello I already appreciated it and want to cling onto it).” So beautifully said, I want to plagiarize it. But I won’t 🙂 Thanks for your note about my post on braveness. I completely understand how you feel. In the meantime I am rooting for that paper chain to get annihilated and your rock collection to grow. Thanks SO much for being in touch.

As I mentioned to you in my response to your today’s blog, I plan to use your comment tonight. I’m sure I’ll be quoting you often in future–always with acknowledgement, though. Thanks for your sweet words about my blog. I can tell you it is totally reciprocated in my delight in your blog
